The Art of Being a Good Friend is a confidence-building summer camp designed to equip children with the social skills they need to form strong, healthy friendships. In today’s world, knowing how to introduce yourself, include others, resolve small conflicts, and communicate with confidence is essential — and these skills don’t always come naturally.
Throughout the week, students will practice strong first impressions, teamwork, and respectful problem-solving through interactive games, group challenges, role-play scenarios, and leadership activities. We’ll talk about loyalty, courage, sportsmanship, and how to stand up for others with integrity. We’ll even host a special Friendship Tea, where students can practice conversation skills, polite table manners, and the art of making others feel welcomed and valued. Because good friendships don’t happen by accident—they’re built with kindness, confidence, and character.
Children will be thoughtfully grouped by appropriate ages for instruction and activities to ensure lessons are engaging, relevant, and developmentally appropriate.
Optional Add-On: We will be offering our Table Etiquette course immediately following camp from 4:00 - 5:00 PM for families who would like to extend their child’s etiquette experience. To enroll, simply register for both Art of Being a Good Friend Camp and the July Table Etiquette session at checkout. (NOTE: Completion of Primary Manners is required to register for Table Etiquette)
